Chresente C. Garong (Ace)

Chresente C. Garong or Ace as he is known in the industry started his teaching career in a Korean owned language Center in Cebu, Philippines in 2004. He taught Korean and Japanese students of various English proficiency level and of different age groups. He fell in love with the job so he decided to pursue education at Cebu Normal University and later on passed the licensure examination for teachers. He continued his post graduate degree in English Language Teaching in the same University.
Ace also tried teaching Filipino students in the university level as well as worked in the corporate world but they were short-lived endeavors. Eventually, he went back to his first love which is ESL/EFL teaching. For eight years, he has devoted his service in teacher training as TESOL Center Manager and Trainer in Cebu, Philippines.
He organized teacher training for public school teachers and fresh graduates to promote TESOL and in the hope to enhance the quality of ESL/EFL teaching in the country. He extended his reach to Vietnam in 2015 when he was commissioned by Tra Vinh University in Tra Vinh Province and the Ministry of Education and Training to train 100 Vietnamese public school teachers in the entire province.
Ace recently established EIS Education to provide support to many Filipinos who wish to gain international certification in ESL/EFL.
Mary Gay C. Tabuñag

Mary Gay C. Tabuñag has been teaching English as a Second Language since 2009. Currently, she is working as the Academic Manager of MeRISE English Academy Inc. She provides Business English Communication Lessons and Teacher Training to ESL teachers for a wide range of Japanese companies from different sectors such as Mitsubishi, Nishimura and Asahi Law Firm and NTT Communications.
Previously, she worked as the Director of Studies for Global Assessment Certificate (GAC) program which is an internationally recognized university preparation program of ACT Education Solutions, Limited for non-native students. During her time, she conducted General English, Study Skills and Academic Writing Classes for Korean High school students. She also facilitated workshops and teacher training in the best teaching practices.
Mary Gay also worked as an IELTS Instructor in SMEAG Global Education and has undergone training by British Council Examiners. She has an extensive experience in IELTS, teaching a variety of ages and abilities of students from Korea, Japan, Vietnam, Taiwan and Russia.
Most recently, she facilitated a teacher training support program with Indonesian teachers in Bali, Indonesia and Filipino Teachers in Tokyo, Japan.
